Last week was a proud week for Tokomaru School with our students competing in the cluster cross-country. Of the 21 students sent to represent our school, 9 were placed in the top 3. This is the best result I have seen since my time at Tokomaru School. Feedback from our cluster schools was once again very positive. Some of the emails back to me used words such as a great day… enjoyable event… fantastic location… a real cross country… kids came back buzzing just to name a few.
Once again, I would like to thank Susan and Gregg Stewart for allowing the Cluster and Tokomaru School for using their farm and making this event possible. I would also like to thank the Home and School Association and parents who helped with transportation, the BBQ and Marshalling.
